With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roscoe Richardson Jr. of Speedwell, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 9, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe, Sr. Richardson and Mary Alice Cornett Richardson; and his sons, Mickey and Jamie Richardson. He is survived by: his daughters, Ginger Richardson of Speedwell and Ashley Richardson of Ceres; his grandchildren, Greyson Andrews and Ella Richardson; his siblings, Judy (Mike Albert), Janie Repass of Wytheville, Jean (Richard Ward) and Fred; his sister-in-law Barbara Richardson of Wytheville; his nieces, Amy Kerns and Teresa Hagee; his great-nieces, Laura Lawson, Sasha Parks and Anna Parks; and his nephew Steven Durham (Alex Durham).
In lieu of flowers the family request donation be made to Hospice of Southwest Virginia Hospice – 705 East Main Street- Wytheville, VA 24382.
