He is survived by: his wife Shirley Viola Burkett of Speedwell; his son George Edward Burkett of Bumpass, VA; his daughter-in-law Lori Ann Perkins of Bumpass, VA; his grandchildren, Jacob Edward Burkett (Amanda Jane) and Nichole Ashley Burkett Perry (Williams Charles); his great grandchildren, Ian Burkett of Martinsburg, WV and Avery Burkett of Martinsburg, WV; and his brother Marion Oliver Burkett of Spotsylvania, VA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
