It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Gene Brewer of Speedwell, Virginia, who passed away on September 5, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Aubrey Brewer; and his siblings, Jimmy, Ray, Roy, Bobby, Virginia, Betty and Pete.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Simpson Brewer of Speedwell; his daughter Jessica; his son-in-law Brien Owens of Cripple Creek; his son Andy; his daughter-in-law Ann Brewer of Crockett; his grandchildren, Tyler, Peyton, Lilly, Grace, Lucas, Lydia, Caden, Colton, Fox and Everleigh; his great grandchild Jocelyn; his siblings, Sue Brewer of Speedwell and Butch; and his sister-in-law Patty Brewer of Speedwell. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Speedwell Cemetery Fund.
