He is survived by: his daughter Samantha Auxer of Speedwell; his son-in-law Michael Auxer of Speedwell; his stepdaughter Brandi Hagee of Speedwell; his granddaughter Oliva Auxer of Speedwell; his stepgrandchildren, Gabriel Hagee, Michael Hagee and Madilyn Hagee; his siblings, Anna "Betty" Funk, Jenny Hale and Gene Hale of Speedwell; his siblings-in-law, Faye Hale of Speedwell, Fred Johnson and Willie Hale of Wytheville; and also Joshua Hagee of Speedwell.
