She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie Brown and Ida Wells Brown; her siblings, Virginia, Carolyn and Robert; and her husbands, Leslie Dixon of Ashe County and A. B. Hurt, Jr. of Ashe County.
She is survived by: her children, Don Dixon (Judy) of Middletown, Ohio, Beth Dixon of Sparta, NC, Kent Dixon of Sparta, NC, Tod (Cynthia) and Ruth.
