He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Evans; his sons, Russell Jr. (Judy), Frankie (Carol), Terry (Yolanda), Harry (Katrina) and Brandon Evans; his stepson Timothy McCray of Arizona; his father-in-law Milton McCray of AllenTown, MD; his brother-in-law Jerome McCray of Chester, VA; his siblings, James C. Evans (Laura) of Petersburg, VA, Henry Mitchell Evans of Petersburg, VA, Cornell Evans Wilkins of Richmond, VA, Linnie Evans Wingfield (Charles) of Sutherland, VA and Vera Evans Yates (Cleaver) of Petersburg, VA; his sister-in-law Otelia Evans of Chesterfield; his niece Georgia Brown; and his friend Reggie Waller of South Chesterfield, VA. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
