We are sad to announce that on June 25, 2023, at the age of 83, Mereldyn Carol Hord Lowery of South, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Jesse Hord and Bessie McCallum Hord; and her husband Louis "Ray" Lowery. She is survived by: her children, Teresa Lowery-Marquard (David) and Todd Lowery (Rose); her grandchildren, Shawn, Jason Tremer, James Smith and Kyle Marquard; her brother Franklin Hord; and her sister-in-law Mary Lou Hord. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
