He was predeceased by: his parents, Otho "Boots" Hager and Elizabeth Smith Hager; his stepmother Thelma Rudd Hager; his brother Roger Vance Hager; and his nephew Erik Hager.
He is survived by: his significant other Amy Bowe of South Charleston; his daughter Ashley Oldaker; his grandson Ashton Oldaker of Cross Lanes; his brother Warren Keith Hager (Amy) of Woodbridge, Virginia; and his nephews, Theron Hager (Caroline) of Glade Hill, Virginia and Jason Hager (Clemence) of Alexandria.
