Washington of South, Virginia, born in Meridian, Mississippi, who passed away on March 15, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur and Elvera of Washington; his brothers, Arthur, Jr. of Washington, Burt of Washington and Jimmy Lee of Washington; and his son Jola of Washington.
He is survived by: his wife Annie of South Chesterfield, VA; his children, Gerald Brown (Benita) of Petersburg, VA, James "JB" Brown of Chesterfield, VA, Ronnie (Wenonah) of Chesterfield, VA and Deborah Willis of Las Vegas, NV; his sister Ruthie Jones of East St; and his siblings-in-law, Dorothy Harris (Richard) of Chester, VA, Christine Petticolas (Augustus) of Forrest, VA and James McKinley Mason of Jarratt, VA. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
