She is survived by: her daughter Zelda Griffin (Melvin); her stepdaughter Mary Small; her sister Mabel Johnson; her grandchildren, Jannell Small, Earl Small, Jr., Stanley Small and Margie Thomas; her daughter-in-law Jeanette Hilliard; her siblings-in-law, Sadie Couch and Garfield Lee; her goddaughter Michelle Goines (Mikey); and her nieces and nephews, Dianne Stevens, Toni Jones, Bruce Branch and William Branch. She is also survived by her parents, eight siblings.
