With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ella Mae Buckner Connell of South, Virginia, who passed away on March 1, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Buckner and Sadie Buckner; her son William C. "Carl" Connell, Jr.; and her siblings, William, Gilbert Buckner, Elsie B. Clary, Marie Gordon and Frances Pearson.
She is survived by: her husband William Carlton Connell, Sr.; her daughters, Amy Connell Clary (David) and Beverly Washburn (Kent); her daughter-in-law Ann Connell; her grandchildren, Andrew W. Connell (Krystal), Lesley C. Nunn (Patrick), Laura Eddings (Chris), Collin Washburn, Chase Clary and Alex Clary; and her great grandchildren, Drew Connell, Kelsey Carter, Harper, Van Walker Nunn, Ava Marie Connell and Lawson Eddings. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
