Clementine McCrowey Marshall Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clementine McCrowey Marshall of South, Virginia, who passed away on January 25, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Scott McCrowey and Juanita Broome; her brothers, Fletcher (Jane), Gilbert (Elizabeth) and Scott, Jr.; and her son John D. Marshall, III.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen D. Marshall and Cynthia C. Booker (Richard); her grandchildren, Justin P. Tinsley (Jade), Anthony B. Holt (Brooke), Kimberly C. Bradley Angela L. (Terry), Clear and Anthony J. Marshall; her great grandchildren, Huey Marshall Tinsley, Veda Spencer Tinsley, Alana Gabrielle Bradley and Kaden Chase Bradley; her husband John D. Marshall, Jr.; her grandson Anthony Holt; her close friend Russell; her daughter Mauri Abigail Smith; and also, Xavier University (family: Renetta, Darrion Ball), Patricia Martin and Gwen Davis.
Viewing was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Chapel of J. M. Wilkerson Funeral Establishment, Inc. (102 South Ave, Petersburg, VA 23803). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church (3300 R St, Richmond, VA 23223). A burial was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at the Grandview Memorial Park (620 S Cherry Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29732).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of Clementine McCrowey Marshall to any of the following: Holy Rosary Catholic Church Capital Fund, The Alzheimer's Association of America, or The American Cancer Society.
