Caroline W. Carrington Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Caroline W. Carrington of South, Virginia, who passed away on April 3, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry and Ida Dunn Tench Wohlhueter; her husband James R. Carrington, Sr.; and her brothers, Clifford A. Mayes (Mary) and James R. Wohlhueter (Gerry).
She is survived by: her children, James Richard Carrington, Jr. (Patricia), Thomas R. Carrington (Jean), John F. Carrington (Joanne) and Cathi L. Carrington-Cleveland (John); her grandchildren, Mary Caroline "Keri" Weaver (Brian), Charles Thomas Carrington (Fedlie), Lisa Ann Cleveland, Robert Alexander Carrington (Cazmeairah), Sydney Carrington Rystrom (Chase), Amber Gonzales (Richard), Ryan Walker (Rebecca), Chalyn Corley and Chelsea Troupe (Owen); her sister-in-law Beverly McDowell Branch; her nieces, Jewel "Ricki" Malerich (Allan) and Kim Branch Barbour; and her nephew C. A. "Rusty" Mayes (Brenda). She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
