He is survived by: his wife Teresa Powell Simmons; his children, Brittani Allen (Zacch) of Glen Allen and Brandon Simmons of North Chesterfield; his grandchildren, Isaiah Fife, Chase Allen and Londyn Allen; his siblings, Christy Connell, Jennifer Poole (Jerry), Chyrel Baird (Nelson), Sonya Churchill, Angie Puryear, Kimberly Gilbert and Keith Puryear; and his pets, Chilly and Winnie. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
