He was predeceased by: his former wife Nancy Bragg Bishop; his parents, Thomas Eldridge Bishop and Mary Gibson Bishop; and his siblings, Frank Bishop, George Bishop, Gracie Lee McFarland, Dorothy Stone, Edna Jones, Louise Russell and Irene Carter.
He is survived by: his siblings, Mae Bishop Fields, Rob Bishop and Buck Bishop; his wife Imogene Barker Bishop; his son Thomas E. "Teb" Bishop, III of Powhatan; and his stepchildren, Evon Walker of South Hill, Charlotte Lewis of South Hill, Carol Chapman of South Hill, Penny Glenn of Alberta and William Kennedy of Kenbridge. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren and a grea-great grandchild; many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Clarke Funeral Home (110 E 5th Ave, Kenbridge, VA 23944). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
