It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susanne Johansen Harris of South Hill, Virginia, who passed away on January 15, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Robert L. "Bobby" Harris; her parents, George Monroe and Eunice Marbrete Warrington Johansen; her children, Catherine Barnes (Hunter) of Bon Air, Anne H. Thomason of South Hill and Robert L. Harris, Jr. (Wanda) of Powhatan; her grandchildren, Lauren T. Cordle (Bryan), Lindsey T. Smith (Michael), Leslie T. Barton (Chris), Carrie B. Loudy (Kevin), Ashley H. Prater (Phil), Ryan H. Barnes (Emilie) and Katie H. Maclin (Thomas); and her close friend Ricky Thomason of Dolphin. She was also cherished by twelve great-grandchildren.
