She was predeceased by: her parents, Carrie Mae Hudgins and Alvis Nathan Hudgins, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Charlie; her son Anthony; her sister LaGretta Coleman; and her aunt Alice Marie Riddick. She is also survived by many other relatives and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association, a cause close to Shirley's heart.
