He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hines and Elizabeth Taylor Hines; and his siblings, Elizabeth "Betty" Hines, Robert Hines and John Howard Hines.
He is survived by: his significant other Donna Stevens; his children, Kimley Marie Hines of Delaware and Chrissie Hines Robson (Charles) of Pennsylvania; his stepsons, Jack Stevens (Yvonne) of Warsaw and Rick Stevens (Karen) of Colonial Heights; and his brothers, David Hines of North Carolina and Thomas Hines of New Jersey. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.
