Though Rawlins Claiborne may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Rawlins Claiborne touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Benjamin Duke McCauley; her sisters, Doris Ryland and Jane Creedle; and her grandson William J. Boos. She is survived by: her daughters, Sylvia M. Leemon of Fuqua-Varina, NC, Cynthia M. Boos of Atlanta, GA and Gloria Rhodes (Alan) of Bracey; and her sister Georgie Rudd of Bracey. She is also survived by many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
