She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Penland of South Hill, Pamela Joy Penland Taylor (Billy) of Bracey, Michelle Marie Morrissette (Henry) of Bracey, Laura Lynn Penland of La Crosse and Shannon Daw Smith (Dennis) of South Hill; her sister Jacqueline Carter McCleaf of Florida; her grandchildren, Cassandra Lassiter, Ashley Harrington, Brigham Wilson, Cameron Penland, Walter Wilson and Lexi Smith; and her great grandchildren, Riley Dustin Wilson, Shelby Lynn Hightower, Elianna Harrington, Lily Lassiter, Marla Hightower and Luca Lassiter.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home and Crematory (1504 N Mecklenburg Ave, South Hill, VA 23970). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at the Oakwood Cemetery.
