He was predeceased by: his father Thomas Lamar Chavis. He is survived by: his mother Pauline Garnes Chavis of Brodnax, VA; his children, Tiara Chavis of Henrico and Shayla Chavis of South Hill; his grandson Ashton Lamon Easter; his sister Tedra Baskerville of Midlothian; his nephew Damiyan Chavis of Midlothian, Virginia; his niece DeAndrea Chavis of Largo; and his aunts and uncles, Sylvester Garnes of Brodnax, Peter Garnes of Brodnax, Frances Morgan of Brodnax and Martha Alice Salley of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is also survived by cousins, relatives and friends.
