It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmie Lee Mays (South Hill, Virginia), who passed away on January 2, 2023, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Alice Mays of Bracey; his daughter Kayla Lee Mays of Lynchburg; his stepdaughters, Shannon Smith of Appomattox and Alisha Rockefeller of Appomattox; his siblings, Peter Mays (Vivian) of Michigan and Tammy Lee Swift (Stan) of Georgia; and his daughter Pippi. He is also survived by his six step-grandchildren; his loving nieces and nephew, his friends.
