She was predeceased by: her daughters, Sandra Smelley Leibforth and Katharine Leibforth Petersen; and her sisters, Mary Luke Martin Treiber and Martha Stevens. She is survived by: her children, Robin Champion (Steve) of Raleigh, NC and Randy Leibforth of Athens, GA; her sister Betty Marie King of Forsyth, GA; and her grandchildren, John Champion, Kyle Champion, Lauren Leibforth and Kelley Leibforth.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Iris's name to the LaCrosse Baptist Church, 102 N Carter St., LaCrosse, VA 23950.
