It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Etta Thompson Mathews of South Hill, Virginia, who passed away on March 3, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Allen Franklin Thompson and Mabel Evans Thompson; and her husband George Evans Mathews. She is survived by : her son Charles A. Mathews (Shani) of South Hill; and her grandson Logan Mathews of Blacksburg, VA..
