With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth Jane Conte of South Hill, Virginia, who passed away on August 18, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Peter Anthony Conte; and her siblings, John, Harold, Billy, Frankie, Laura Nariok, Marlene Poggoli and Virginia Latassa.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Horoszewski (John) of Baskerville, Denise Conte Zant (Robert) of Oakdale, NY, Janine Natalie (James) of East Quogue, NY and Peter Anthony Conte II of Sag Harbor, NY; her sister Judy Umbro of California; her grandchildren, Dominic Conte of Queens, Peter Conte II (Edenir) of Queens, NY, Devin Horoszewski (Lisa) and Danelle Binks (Patrick) of Hampton, VA; and her great grandchildren, Ethan Binks of Hampton, VA and Bruce Horoszewski of Bracey.
The family suggest memorial contributions be made in Mrs Conte's name to the Mecklenburg County Cancer Association, MCCA, PO Box 311, Chase City, VA. 23924.
