It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dolores Cothran Kennedy of South Hill, Virginia, who passed away on September 11, 2024, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Vaughan Cothran; her parents, Richard E. Williams and Vanie Daniel Williams; and her brother Richard Eugene Williams. She is survived by: her children, Shawn Cothran of South Hill and Ashley Cothran of Victoria; her grandchildren, Tyler Cothran (Jessica), Karlee Cothran and Hunter Cothran; her great grandchildren, Dustin and Preston Cothran; her sister Linda Shotwell (Richard) of Rock Hill, S. C.; her niece Dana Simmons (Mike) of York, S. C; and her sister-in-law Elizabeth Cothran.
