She was predeceased by: her parents, James Tackett and Mary Tackett; her brother James Tackett, Jr.; and her grandson William Roy Smith. She is survived by: her children, Clarence R. "Rick" Gillespie of Franklinton, NC and Peggy G. Smith of Richmond.
