He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Hodges and Lucy Hodges; his daughter-in-law Christine Lee Hodges; his siblings, Ima Brown and Ray Hodges; and the mother of his children Charlotte Hodges.
He is survived by: his children, Randy Hodges of Beltsville, MD, Leneve Hodges Savage of Wake Forest, NC, Beverly Hodges of Cadiz, KY, Angela Hodges Goldsmith-McKenzie of South Hill and Duane Hodges of Florida; his grandchildren, David Savage, Janel Buckingham, Robert Savage, Brent Goldsmith, Christopher Hodges, Keith Goldsmith and Kevin Hodges; his sister Ruth Mathis; and his close friend Sena Barfield. He is also survived by many loving great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home and Crematory (1504 N Mecklenburg Ave, South Hill, VA 23970). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at the Crestview Memorial Park (18599 US-1, La Crosse, VA 23950).
