She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Grace Ryland and William Henry Clay Walker; her children, Anne Ryland Skinner, Harrison Skinner (Shelby) and David Walsh; her granddaughters, Laney Grace Skinner and Katie Ann Skinner; and her sister Elizabeth Chandler.

Travel (to six continents) and duplicate bridge (she became a lifelong member in 2010) both were important in her life, but COVID curtailed participation in both.
