He is survived by: his wife Katherine Carmichael Whitt; his sons, Christopher Warren Whitt (Teresa), Matthew Thomas Whitt (Adien) and Joseph Anthony Owen (Allison); his grandchildren, Levi, Benjamin, Mackenzie, Joel, Jayke of Kolt, T. J., Trinity and Ethan; and his siblings, Douglas Ray Whitt, Janet Lacks, Donna Eastwood (Howard) and Linda Price (Peyton).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Brooks Lyon Funeral Home (115 Main St, South Boston, VA 24592). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Brooks Lyon Funeral Home Chapel (115 Main St, South Boston, VA 24592). A burial was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at the Shady Grove Umc Cemetery (8007 E Hyco Rd, Virgilina, VA 24598).
