He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Matthews (Charles) and Christopher Hunt (Tonja); his grandchildren, Kaitlynn Ashley Hunt, Thomas Blake Matthews and Maria Nichole Kanopoulos; his brother Kenneth Hunt (Emily); his friend Sharon Ann Ashe; and his pet Rosie.
A graveside service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery (4109 Guess Rd, Durham, NC 27712).
