He was predeceased by: his parents, George Robert Comer and Mary Zimmer Comer; and his siblings, Eugene, Louis, Lloyd Comer and Gladys Williamson.

He is survived by: his wife Judy Puryear Comer; his son Tom Comer (Sarah); his grandchildren, Mary Talbott (Kevin), Dillon Comer (Stephanie), Alexis, Bronson Comer, Chevy, Cruz Comer, Bri and Alex Moore; his great grandchildren, Jade, Kye, Case Talbott, Brody, Bo Comer, Cade and Jax Williams; and his siblings, Joyce Morris, Roger and Bobby Comer.

In lieu of flowers, Tommy's family asks that donations be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
