She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Frank and Vella Murphy (Asbury); her brother Alvin Murphy; and her sons, Thomas Brice Eggleston and Roger Jackson Eggleston.
She is survived by: her son James Edgar Eggleston (Jane) of Danville, Virginia; her grandchildren, Alice St. Pierre, Lauren King, Brice Eggleston, Mary Clayton McGee and James B. Eggleston; and her daughter-in-law Rucker Eggleston (Thomas) of Topsail Beach.
