She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Enos Gravitt and Mary Frances Gravitt Gravitt; her husband Fred Scott; and her siblings, Harvey I. Gravitt, Clarence D. Gravitt, H. Newman Gravitt, Claude M. Gravitt, James E. Gravitt, Aubrey H. Gravitt and Beatrice Susan Gravitt Watts.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cheri Budzinski (David) of Chesterfield, VA, Sheila Womack (James) of Virgilina, VA and Alysia Mitchell (Dean) of Charlotte, NC; her grandchildren, Lauren Mitchell of Charlotte, NC, Kristen Mitchell of Tucson, AZ and Tristin Yesalavich of Nathalie, VA; and her pet Cupcake.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Brooks Lyon Funeral Home (115 Main St, South Boston, VA 24592). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at the Virgilina Cemetery.
