She was predeceased by: her parents, William Murphy and Esther Murphy; and her brother Dred Murphy. She is survived by: her husband Harold Lester Rouse; her daughters, June Shingleton (Tommy) and Edie Myers (Russ); her siblings, Peggy Collingwood (Clark), Billie Spitler (Ron) and Carl Murphy (Ginger); and her sister-in-law Martha Lou Murphy. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and many other family and friends.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Tungsten Baptist Church (3944 Tungsten Mine Rd, Bullock, NC 27536). A burial was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at the same location.
