It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Bass Whitt of South Boston, Virginia, who passed away on October 19, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter H. Bass, Jr. and Clara Jane Martin Bass; her husband Henry Bradley Whitt; and her sister Patricia Bass Hobbs. She is survived by: her sister Nancy Bass Roberts; and her stepgrandson Bradley Wayne Whitt, Jr.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
