She is survived by: her son Joe L. "Joey" Jenkins III; her sisters-in-law, Alcie Whittington and Ann Parker (John); her stepgrandchildren, Bethany Ann Payton (James) and Tyler Tharpe; and her nieces, Michelle and Jo Jo Whittington. She is also survived by 4 step great grandsons; and many other nieces and nephews.
