He was predeceased by: his parents, James John Dixon and Fannie "Willie" Landrum Dixon; his wife Rachel New Dixon; his daughter Deborah Lawrence Keaton; and his siblings, Wilson, Conway of Gene, C. B., Charlie Dixon, Virginia Crews and Mary Dunn.
He is survived by: his daughter Wanda D. Seamon (Steve); his grandchildren, Michael Lawrence (Carrie), Casey Campbell (Briana), Chad Campbell (Ashleigh), Chase Campbell (Morgan) and Brent Seamon (Tiffany); his great grandchildren, Connor, Cailyn, River, Cade, Kennedy, Will, Livey, Emma and Alex; and his sister Joyce Powell. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
