It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Kell Howerton of South Boston, Virginia, born in Halifax, Virginia, who passed away on March 30, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thornton Kell and Carrie Mae Woodall Kell; her daughter Nancy Martin Howerton (David); her grandchildren, David Wayne Howerton, Samantha Coates, Whitney Martin, Jonathan Owen (Heather) and Shane Glass; and also, Raleigh Hagood Martin and Cedric Howerton.
She is survived by: her son Steve Allen Martin; and her sisters, Florence Martin and Audrey Queensberry. She is also survived by Ten Great Grandchildren.
