She is survived by: her husband James "Jimmy" Carr Jr.; her daughters, April Walker Chappell (Jason) of Halifax County and Amanda Walker Elliott (Tommy) of Halifax County; her grandchildren, Mack Paige Rudder, Laci Annette Powell, Katie Ann Chappell of Aubree, Dawn Chappell, Kendall Anne Elliott and Walker Thomas Elliott; and her siblings, Lena B. Toombs of Sax, VA, Louise B. East (Bill) of Maryland and Lacy Kent Barksdale (Bonnie) of Nathalie, VA.
