He is survived by: his sister Gracie Poole of Cluster Springs; and his nieces and nephews, Cindy Slayton, Candice Slayton, Amber Weatherford, Eddie Poole and Missy Poole.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Asbury United Methodist Church (2154 Asbury Church Rd, Vernon Hill, VA 24597).
