She is survived by: her children, Virginia "Gail" Bowen Puryear (Grayson, Sr.) of South Boston, Ottis Lee, Bowen III (Anita) of Volens, Clara Leigh Bowen Amoroso (Joe) of South Boston and Scottie Lynn Bowen Francisco (Bryant) of South Boston; and her grandchildren, Grayson Puryear, Jr., Rebecca "Becky Leigh" Puryear Clark (Dennis), Ottis "Lee" Bowen IV (Aimee), Danielle Nicole Evans (Cory), Andrew "Drew" Owen, Elizabeth Leigh "Liz" Amoroso (Tyler), Victoria Rae "Tori" Amoroso, Joshua "Josh" Amoroso, Amber Gauldin, Jessica Watts and Cheyenne Francisco.
