She was predeceased by: her parents, Vester Steed and Arthur Steed; her husband Curtis Paul Davis, Sr.; and her son-in-law Richard Connelly (Bunky). She is survived by: her sisters, Sara Peek of Centre and Juanita Morgan of Rome, Georgia.; her children, Curtis Paul Davis, Jr. (Kim) of Little River, SC, Tony Davis (Luanne) of Gardendale, AL, Tim Davis (Patty) of Halifax, VA and Caren Connelly of Annapolis, MD.; and her grandchildren, Heather Wendt (John), Ashleigh Davis, Blair Roper (Chris), Lindsey Cochran (Johnathan), Stephanie Coggin (Aaron), Jana Burnette, Jonathan Burnette (Stacie), Jenny Jones (Adam), Brad Davis (Lauren), Kelly Connelly and Brennan Connelly. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Dan River Baptist Church (1228 Dan River Church Rd, South Boston, VA 24558). A celebration of life was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
