He was predeceased by: his parents, John William Nathan Murphy and Nancy Lee Shaw Murphy; and his brother Timothy Jon Murphy. He is survived by: his wife Donna Twigg; his children, Ami Leigh Murphy (Tylor Redman), Amanda Nicole Murphy Simpson (Jason Simpson), Benjamin Howard Murphy Jr. and Georgia Skylor Medeiros; and his grandchildren, Lyla Mae, Karlee Marion, Luca Romane and Phoenix Benjamin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
