She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. William Cralle Brann and Kathryn Luise Tuck Brann; her siblings, Elizabeth Brann Ramsey and William Cralle Brann II; her husbands, Vernon Monroe Swaim III and Lewis DuPuy Johnston Jr.; and her stepdaughter Betty Johnston Miller.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cheryl Luise Swaim (William) and Ann Monroe Jacobs (William); her grandchildren, Luisa Tuck Cole, William Monroe Jacobs (Monica) and Barbara Brann Cole; and her stepchildren, Lee Johnston Foster and Lewis DuPuy Johnston II. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, their children and grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (800 N Main St, South Boston, VA 24592).
