With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alma Lorine Farmer of South Boston, Virginia, who passed away on May 12, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eddie Herman Cox and Elva Lora Cockram Cox; her husband Robert "Frog" Edward Farmer; her grandson Brian Farmer; and her siblings, Harriett Coleene Cox Boyd, Albert Herman Cox and Alonzo McCoy Cox.
She is survived by: her children, Wanda Cartwright (David) of Danville, Leslie Francisco (Danny) of Sutherlin and Vincent "Scott" Farmer (Barbara) of Halifax; her grandchildren, Jessica Cartwright Beach, Megan Nicole Cartwright, Andrew David Cartwright, Daniel Hugh Cartwright, Wendy Holt, Heather Nelson, Michael Farmer, Emily Elder, Samantha Hatcher, Rodney Francisco and Ryan Francisco; her sisters, Elva Cox, Janell Spach and Velda Stevens; and her grandchildren, Eddie Chaney and Lauren Chaney. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu flowers, the family requests donations to Helping Hands of Arbor Baptist Church be considered.
