She was predeceased by: her parents, James G. Long and Pocahontas Hines Long; her husband Clifton Bennie Newby, Sr.; and her sisters, Mary L. Francis and Sarah L. Ashworth.
She is survived by: her children, Allen W. Newby and Tammy N. Dunn (Ollie); her stepson Clifton Bennie Newby Jr. "Butch"; her grandchildren, Ollie Dunn III, James "Tyler" Dunn (Katie), Alayna Jade Newby, Tommy Taylor (Danielle), Allison Craig and Stacia Cook; her great grandchildren, Brantley J. Dunn, Ridge C. Dunn, Olivia Kate Dunn, McKenzie Hauser, Mason Cook, Kamden Cook and Rylee Cook; her granddaughter Leah Neathery; her pet Winston; and her siblings, Shirley L. Morcom and James T. Long.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Arbor Baptist Church in memory of Alice.
