He is survived by: his wife Gloria Jean Johnson; his children, Tiffany Shivers and Brandon Shivers; his grandson Tyshawn Shivers; his niece Tracy Baker Edwards of Smithfield; his sisters, Doretha Shivers Wellons of Smithfield, VA and Rose Shivers Robertson (Lawrence) of Hampton, VA.; and his siblings-in-law, Annie Cotton Shivers, Doris Johnson Harris, Betty Lou Johnson Blow (Ralph), Mildred Johnson Thomas, Virginia Johnson Holloway, Juliet Johnson Carter, Ralph Johnson and Frank Johnson. He is also survived by many other cousins and friends.
