He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton Upton Hayes, Sr. and Virginia Elizabeth Jones Hayes. He is survived by: his wife LaRue H. Hayes; his sons, Adam William Hayes (Christa) and Aaron Thomas Hayes; his grandson Titus Hayes; his sister Nancy Faison; and his sister-in-law Nancy Hayes.
