It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Abraham Callis of Smithfield, Virginia, born in Ventura, California, who passed away on December 27, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Joseph Callis and Clara Maude Gardner; his brother John Faustin Callis; his son Robert William Callis; and his great grandchild Daniel Mentik.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Lee Callis (Clarke); and his children, John Callis (Jay), Virginia Feliciano (Genie), Clara Callis, Karen McAlister, Daniel McAlister, David McAlister and Anne McAlister. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and many great great grandchildren.
